Here at GIS, we are doing our part to make the earth a better place for future generations. One goal of our business is to minimize industrial waste that could have an effect on the environment. We examine customer samples to see if we can find alternative uses or recycle the product in question. This “cycle” reduces the amount of waste that could be created from the unnecessary consumption of new resources.

At GIS we are committed to making the world a better place for us all. We embody the ideas presented by Product Stewardship program established by the EPA. We feel that the Product Stewardship program exemplifies the values all companies should share while conducting business to reduce their impact on the planet.

“Product Stewardship is a product-centered approach to environmental protection. Also known as Extended Product Responsibility (EPR), product stewardship calls on those in the product life cycle-manufacturers, retailers, users, and disposers-to share responsibility for reducing the environmental impacts of products” -EPA
